GIVING
All that we are
is the result of what we
have thought;it is founded
on our thoughts,it is made up
of our thoughts.
if a man speaks or
acts with a pure thoughts,
happiness follows him,
like a shadow that never leaves him.
God gives us joy that we
may give;
He gives us joy that we may share;
Sometimes He gives us loads to lift
That we may learn to bear.
For life is gladder when we give,
And love is sweeter when we
share,
And heavy loads rest lightly too
when we have learned
to bear.
